President Cho Myeong Woo Elected 9th President of Gyeongin Regional Council of University Presidents

President Cho was recently appointed as the ninth president of the Gyeongin Regional Council of University Presidents at the annual general meeting held at the Hotel Rivera in Seoul.

Founded in April 2014, the Gyeongin Regional University Presidents' Council brings together the presidents of 32 four-year universities in the Gyeonggi-Incheon region to exchange information between schools and discuss the direction of university development through policy seminars and meetings. President Cho will lead the council for one year until February 2024.

"We will work together to provide quality education to students and improve the educational environment so that the universities in the Gyeonggi-Incheon region can develop together," said President Cho. "As a united voice, we will work together on issues facing universities in the Gyeonggi-Incheon area, such as reducing the number of admissions in the metropolitan area."
